Cultural Resources Commission
Founded in 2008, the Cultural Resources Commission is a diverse group of volunteers appointed by the District of Mission Council to assist with items relating to culture, including arts, heritage and multiculturalism. The Commission recommends direction and standards by which the community can face challenges and measure success and achievements in managing its cultural assets.
The District of Mission values a community where citizens have access to vibrant cultural experiences supported through strong community connections and leadership. To help support this vision the District has adopted several policies and plans, including a Cultural Master Plan and Public Art Policy.
